Our Story
Ozone's Brewhouse is a father son collaboration between Dan and Kyle Malone. Dan has been brewing since 1994, Kyle since 2010. Kyle attained his formal brewing knowledge at the Siebel institute in Chicago and his professional experience in Indianapolis with Three Pints Brewing Co. Between the two of them, they have created hundreds of self inspired beers. Some are true-to-style pub beers, like the house porter, and some are session beers made to drink all day long like the sage cream ale. Some are barrel aged wonders like the barrel aged Amarillo black IPA and others are just… unique examples of their Liquid Art. Throw in some visual art work from sister Kate Bly and you have the beginnings of a brewery. Liquid Art: fitting for the house setting in Lansing, Michigan’s Old Town District.

Located in an old, well, butt-ugly warehouse and a shack. Both of which have now been transformed into the brewery and tap room. The tap room features an outdoor beer garden and the back bar from the old Mustang Lounge, an Old Town landmark. At least twelve beers are on tap, four standard house beers, eight rotating beers, seltzers, cider, and wine. Lansing’s Old Town features some unique galleries, shops, craftsman, and restaurants. We are sourcing various products through these local merchants and craftsman and hope to be your destination for your afternoon or evening activities.
